Accessibility statement
We want anyone to be able to get a price, book a repair, or find our door — whatever device or assistive technology they use. Last reviewed September 25, 2026.
What we aim for
This site is built to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. We treat that as the standard rather than a box to tick, and we test against it as we build.
What's built in
- Keyboard access. Every link, button, form field and step of our sell and repair tools can be reached and operated with a keyboard alone. Focus is always visible — never hidden.
- A skip link. Press Tab on any page and the first thing offered is a link straight to the main content, so you don't have to walk through the menu each time.
- Readable contrast. Our text colours are chosen to meet AA contrast against their backgrounds, in both the light and dark sections of the site.
- Real structure. Pages use proper headings, landmarks and lists, so a screen reader can navigate by heading or region instead of reading everything top to bottom.
- Labelled forms. Every field has a visible label — not just placeholder text that disappears when you start typing — and errors are announced in context rather than by colour alone.
- Touch targets. Buttons and controls are sized for a thumb, not a mouse pointer.
- Reduced motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, our animations switch off automatically. Nothing on this site flashes.
- Resizable text. Type is set in relative units, so it scales with your browser or system setting without breaking the layout.
Where we know we fall short
Being honest is more useful than claiming perfection:
- Our live chat is provided by a third party. Its accessibility is largely outside our control — if it gets in your way, call us instead and you'll reach the same person.
- Some device photographs are decorative and carry no alternative text by design, because describing them would add noise for screen reader users rather than information.
- Maps and directions are embedded from Google. If that's difficult to use, our address is written in plain text in the footer of every page.
